This EP consists of five diverse and evocative pieces for lever harp full of singing melodies and catchy hooks. Using extended techniques and preparation to her harp (like adding vibrating coils to the strings and the occasional good old percussive slap on the sound board), Lauren Scott creates a unique sound world.

These pieces are composed and performed by Lauren Scott on her Starfish lever harp with a string set up that she specially customised over a six month period of experimentation. The result is a unique sounding harp which is highly responsive to the extended techniques that she uses in her compositions.
